ELSPETH FISHER
DIRECTOR/PRODUCER
Elspeth is a director and producer with over a decade of experience working on access-led documentaries and unscripted programmes tackling subject matter that is often sensitive, complex, and at times extraordinary.
Her work has taken her around the globe - from interviewing gang members on the streets of South Chicago to documenting the daring exploits of wing-suit flyers in the Norwegian Fjords.
Before co-founding Tin Can, Elspeth made programmes with the BBC, Viacom International, Barcroft Media and Arrow International Media to name a few. Credit highlights include A&E’s top freshman series ‘Accused: Guilty or Innocent: After the Trial’, ITV’s ‘Extraordinary Twins’ and Netflix’s ‘Amazing Interior’s’. Elspeth cut her teeth working out of the ITV newsroom on the UK’s most watched-current affairs series ‘Tonight’.
Elspeth finds herself drawn to telling stories about ordinary people doing extraordinary things, resilience against struggle, and the warmth and wit of humankind.
